Domestic and assembled car prices fall in Tehran market; Rira down 97 million tomans

According to Tejarat News, Iran's car market remained in a lull for a second week on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 (20 Mordad 1405), with political uncertainty keeping buyers and sellers cautious. Among domestic models, the Rira crossover fell 97 million tomans over two weeks to 3.538 billion tomans, the Dena Plus MT6 with steel rims dropped 50 million tomans to 2.03 billion tomans, and the Shahin Automatic Plus fell 54 million tomans to 2.586 billion tomans. Among assembled models, the seven seat Fidelity Elite dropped 140 million tomans to 5.09 billion tomans, while the Extreme QX was the notable riser, up 100 million tomans to 11.4 billion tomans.
