The full Emami gold coin fell on Saturday, 25 July 2026 (3 Mordad 1405), in step with bullion. In midday trading (around 11:30 Tehran time) the Emami coin traded near 184 million tomans, about 2.5% (roughly 4.5 million tomans) below last week's close.
The coin fell more than the metal itself: beyond the retreat in the global ounce and the cheaper free-market dollar, the coin's premium (the gap between its market price and the intrinsic value of its gold content) also compressed. Such premium adjustments typically occur on days when speculative demand for coins eases.
