Ethereum failed for a second consecutive day to break above the $1,950 resistance level, a level that according to a report published early on Saturday 1 August 2026 coincides with the cryptocurrency's 100 day moving average.
At the same time, Ethereum investment funds recorded more than $13 million of inflows on Friday 31 July, partially offsetting the outflows of the previous day.
From a technical standpoint, and according to Ramzarz News, losing the $1,850 support could open the way toward the $1,800 and then $1,700 levels, while a return to an upward trend would require the price to hold above the 100 day moving average and the $1,950 resistance. These figures are that source's analytical estimate and not a definitive forecast. The wider crypto market has been under pressure over the same period, with bitcoin falling below $63,000 on Friday.
