According to Donya-e-Eqtesad, Tehran's free market dollar reached 263,700 tomans on Saturday, October 3, 2026 (Mehr 11, 1405). Sahmino's own live price feed recorded the dollar near 265,700 tomans at 11:29 local time the same day, up 2.82 percent on the previous trading session. The move extends a recent rally from around 258,000 tomans on Wednesday, October 1. Simultaneous gains in gold, coins and Tether in the domestic market point to the same demand pressure for foreign currency and rial alternative assets.
