Shekimia Heads for a Farabourse IPO, Valued at 6,464 Billion Tomans

An introductory session for the ticker Shekimia (Kimia Polyester Qom) was held at Iran Farabourse on Saturday, September 26, 2026 (4 Mehr 1405). Matin Abdi of Omid Investment Bank, the company's valuer, said that averaging four methods (FCFE, DDM, multiples and net asset value) with equal weights puts the company's total value at 6,464 billion tomans, or 4,310 rials per share.

Deputy board chair Hamed Moghaddam said registered capital is 1,500 billion tomans, last year's operating revenue was 3.7 thousand billion tomans and more than 85 percent of output is exported; over 80 percent of raw materials come from recycling, and 99.9 percent of shares are held by one individual shareholder. He said the company's 3.3 MW solar plant came online this year and its yarn expansion project is 35 percent complete. Shekimia is the second yarn producer heading to the capital market.
