Navid Khasehbaf, CEO of Tehran Municipality's Organization for Investment and Public Participation, said at a press conference on Saturday, August 15, 2026 (24 Mordad 1405), that from 8 a.m. that day, 5,000 more "Khaneh Rooz" micro real estate investment units were offered on the Shahrzad platform; a similar batch of 5,000 units had been offered the previous week, bringing total sales so far to about 8,800 units. According to Khabaronline, citing ISNA, purchases are capped at 100 units per national ID to prevent speculation.
Khasehbaf said the project is a nine story, 54 unit building with 6,480 square meters of net residential space in Tehran's District 5, for which a construction permit has been issued and which is now in the excavation and foundation phase, showing about 2 percent physical progress since the previous month. He said Khaneh Rooz is structured as a civil partnership between the builder and investors rather than a pre sale, and that Tehran Municipality guarantees its liquidity.
