Between 22 and 29 July 2026, Iran's capital market recorded the best performance among all the markets surveyed. According to an Eghtesad Online report, the Tehran Stock Exchange main index rose 3.91 percent over the week. The report's author says the easing of tensions from the previous Wednesday through Tuesday 28 July lowered systematic risk and strengthened inflows into equities, but fresh hostilities in the early hours of Wednesday 29 July temporarily halted that upward trend.
In the domestic currency and metals markets, the dollar fell 0.62 percent over the same week. The dollar's decline is cited as one factor behind an 0.85 percent fall in 18 carat gold and a 2.86 percent fall in domestic silver.
In global markets, gold lost 2.06 percent and silver 2.44 percent, while global copper rose 1.01 percent on steady demand. Among cryptocurrencies, Solana and XRP fell most with declines above 4 percent, Bitcoin dropped 2.1 percent, Ethereum slipped about 0.26 percent, and BNB was the only positive name on the list with a 0.34 percent gain.
