Tether Climbs in Step With the Free-Market Dollar

According to ArzDigital, the domestic price of Tether (USDT) rose more than 3 percent on Monday, 28 September 2026 (6 Mehr 1405), in step with the free-market dollar, entering the 241,000-toman range and, according to the outlet, setting a new price high. A week earlier Tether and the dollar were both trading around 229,000 tomans; in seven days both have gained more than 12,000 tomans.

Sahmino's own recorded data show the same trend: Tether stood at about 244,240 tomans at 16:04 on Monday, up 3.15 percent on the day, and the free-market dollar at about 243,900 tomans at 16:00, up 3.8 percent. In Iran's domestic market Tether functions in practice as a digital dollar, and its price usually moves with the free-market dollar rate.
