Ethereum Exchange Reserves Hit a Multi Year Low as 1.4 Million ETH Leave Since June

According to data from analytics platform Santiment, published by Arzdigital on Saturday, 7 Shahrivar 1405 (August 29, 2026), Ethereum reserves on centralized exchanges fell from 7.69 million ETH on June 3, 2026 to 6.28 million ETH on August 27, 2026, a drop of nearly 1.4 million ETH. The outflow intensified even as Ethereum's price rose about 30 percent since mid August. Over the same window, bitcoin's exchange balance rose only about 0.25 percent and stayed near the top of its recent range, despite bitcoin's price climbing 26 percent.
Separately, US spot bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs have posted nine consecutive days of net inflows, which the report described as the strongest institutional demand since October 2023. As of the report, bitcoin funds had attracted more than 3.5 billion dollars and Ethereum funds about 1.66 billion dollars.
