Grayscale Withdraws Its Cardano, Polkadot and Hedera ETF Filings From SEC Review
11 August 2026 | 2 months ago
According to Arzdigital, published Monday, 10 August 2026 (19 Mordad 1405), asset manager Grayscale has formally withdrawn its applications to list exchange traded funds (ETFs) based on the cryptocurrencies Cardano (ADA), Polkadot (DOT) and Hedera (HBAR) from the US Securities and Exchange Commission's review process. The unexpected move comes after considerable speculation that the funds could be approved. With the filings withdrawn, the direct route for these three assets into the US ETF market is halted for now. Analysts say the SEC's strict regulatory environment may be among the main reasons behind Grayscale's strategic decision.
