Aramco's adjusted profit rises 33% in the second quarter as its realized price reaches $108.1 a barrel
Aug 5, 2026
Saudi Aramco said on Tuesday, 4 August 2026 (13 Mordad 1405), that its adjusted net income for the second quarter of 2026 reached $33.385 billion, up 33% from $25.19 billion in the same period of 2025 and above an analyst consensus of about $31 billion.
The company's average realized crude oil price for April to June rose to $108.1 per barrel, in a period when Brent averaged $97 a barrel. That compares with realizations of $76.9 per barrel in the first quarter of this year and $66.7 per barrel in the second quarter of 2025. Aramco kept its second quarter base dividend at $21.9 billion, to be paid in the third quarter, with the majority going to the Saudi state.
President and CEO Amin Nasser said that despite the major disruption to flows in the second quarter, the company's diverse asset base, including the East-West Pipeline, storage capacity and export terminals, allowed it to sustain production and exports. Aramco has re-routed its crude exports to the Red Sea port of Yanbu to bypass the Strait of Hormuz constraints, but two weeks ago Yemen's Ansar Allah threatened to block Saudi-linked shipments in the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, prompting some exports to be redirected northward toward Egypt and the Suez Canal.

Farabourse Iran Reports 16 Companies Improved Their Audit Opinion Within a Year
According to Boursenews, Jalal Baharestan, Farabourse Iran's deputy for issuer oversight, said that of 83 Farabourse listed companies identified in Shahrivar 1404 (August/September 2025) as having qualified audit opinions, 16 companies, or 20 percent, managed to have their auditor's opinion upgraded to "unqualified" by Shahrivar 1405 (August/September 2026) after a year of follow up. He said the total number of audit qualification clauses across these companies fell 30 percent over the same year. Baharestan said that after identifying the 83 companies, Farabourse engaged with issuers on the issues raised in their audit reports and asked their boards to submit corrective plans and clear timelines to resolve the ambiguities. He said the improvement was not limited to companies exiting qualified status, as other issuers have also improved reporting quality by clarifying their accounts and resolving financial disputes.
