According to Donya-e-Eqtesad, Tehran's stock exchange showed volatile behavior in mid session trading on Saturday, September 5, 2026 (14 Shahrivar 1405). The main index (TEDPIX) lost the 6.6 million point channel after trying to enter it, then returned to that level minutes later. Retail trading value topped 27 trillion tomans, and advancing symbols (600) outnumbered decliners (223), though the inflow of real money had slowed compared with the session's open.

Sahmino's own live data showed TEDPIX up 1.48 percent at 6,599,975 points as of 11:29am Tehran time, consistent with the report of the index nearing the 6.6 million channel. The equal weighted index was also up 1.28 percent.

Farabourse Iran Reports 16 Companies Improved Their Audit Opinion Within a Year

According to Boursenews, Jalal Baharestan, Farabourse Iran's deputy for issuer oversight, said that of 83 Farabourse listed companies identified in Shahrivar 1404 (August/September 2025) as having qualified audit opinions, 16 companies, or 20 percent, managed to have their auditor's opinion upgraded to "unqualified" by Shahrivar 1405 (August/September 2026) after a year of follow up. He said the total number of audit qualification clauses across these companies fell 30 percent over the same year. Baharestan said that after identifying the 83 companies, Farabourse engaged with issuers on the issues raised in their audit reports and asked their boards to submit corrective plans and clear timelines to resolve the ambiguities. He said the improvement was not limited to companies exiting qualified status, as other issuers have also improved reporting quality by clarifying their accounts and resolving financial disputes.
