The eighth government Islamic financing bond auction of 1405 was held on 28 July 2026 (6 Mordad 1405), and its result was announced on 1 August 2026. Of roughly 48,000 billion tomans of securities offered, only 8,870 billion tomans (about 18 percent) were sold, and no bank registered a purchase order. The buyers of the Arad 296 and Arad 297 bonds were financial institutions and capital market firms.

Iran's Central Bank said it will issue the country's first Standard Parallel Forward Coin Notes on 18 Shahrivar 1405 (September 9, 2026). The three month notes let buyers purchase a coin at its price discovered on the issuance day and claim its value at maturity, with a guaranteed minimum return: holders can exercise a put option to sell at maturity for up to 7 percent above the issuance day price. 12th Islamic Treasury Bond Auction of 1405
Iran's Central Bank held the 12th round of this year's Islamic Treasury Bond auction on Tuesday, 3 Shahrivar 1405 (August 25, 2026). Per Ecoiran on 12 Shahrivar, the auction raised about 34 trillion tomans, more than 10 times the average financing raised under the previous sale method, with the yield reaching 41.9 percent. The next auction was held on 11 Shahrivar (September 2, 2026).

Iran's central bank accepted only 70 trillion tomans of banks' combined 419.96 trillion toman demand in the open market operation for the week ending August 24, 2026 (Shahrivar 2, 1405), equal to 16.6 percent of total demand. The value of agreements maturing in the same window was about 60.26 trillion tomans, and the open market rate was 23 percent, while the yield on unmet demand shifted to the overnight market rose to 24 percent.
