China CPI and PPI - July 2026 data
China's National Bureau of Statistics released July 2026 consumer and producer price data on 9 August 2026. Annual consumer inflation eased to 0.5 percent (forecast 0.8, prior 1.0), with prices down 0.1 percent month on month. Producer prices rose 3.5 percent year on year, slowing from 4.1 percent. China is Iran's largest oil buyer, so its price and demand trends affect commodity markets and Iran's export revenue.
