Iran's 100 percent third-party insurance penalty waiver window closes
Iran's Central Insurance announced that penalties for vehicles lacking valid third-party insurance are fully forgiven from Shahrivar 2 to 13, 1405 (August 24 to September 4, 2026). Per Donya-e-Eqtesad, the program aims to encourage owners of uninsured vehicles to renew or buy third-party coverage; full registration details have not yet been announced.
