PBoC Loan Prime Rate announcement - October 2026
The People's Bank of China announces its one-year and five-year Loan Prime Rate (LPR) on 20 October 2026. Under the published procedure the rate is released on the 20th of each month. China's benchmark lending rate affects global commodity demand and oil and metals prices, which is how it matters for the Iranian market.
