Social Security Pension Arrears Payments Likely to Start September 1
Iran's Minister of Cooperatives, Labour and Social Welfare had said payment of Social Security pension adjustment arrears would likely begin on 10 Shahrivar 1405 (1 September 2026). The arrears relate to unpaid increases for Farvardin and Ordibehesht. According to Ecoiran at 12:51 Tehran time on Tuesday, 10 Shahrivar, the payment process actually began the evening of Monday, 9 Shahrivar, and deposits are continuing gradually.
