Tehran Stock Exchange Index Gains 2.11 Percent to Record 7.431 Million Points; Equal Weight Index Crosses 2 Million for the First Time

Tehran Stock Exchange's main index (TEDPIX) rose 2.11 percent, or 153,862 points, on Sunday, September 13, 2026 (22 Shahrivar 1405), closing at a record 7,431,450 points, Donya-e-Eqtesad reported. The rally came as the equal weight index also gained 1.52 percent, crossing 2 million points for the first time in the history of Iran's stock market.
According to Ecoiran, trading value across the equity market reached about 50 hemat (500 trillion rials, roughly 50 trillion tomans) today, while retail investors brought a net of about 5.4 hemat in fresh money into the market, a sign of continued real money buying demand in recent sessions.
