Tehran Stock Exchange main index climbs 2.57 percent to enter the 7.4 million point range

Tehran Stock Exchange's main index (TEDPIX) rose about 186,000 points, or 2.57 percent, on Sunday, September 13, 2026 (22 Shahrivar 1405), reaching roughly 7,464,000 points and marking another fresh record in a multi day rally. According to Donya e Eqtesad, the index had already climbed 2.18 percent to 7,277,000 points on Saturday, September 12, its sixth straight day of gains. Exchange data recorded the index at 7,440,601 points as of 11:30am Tehran time today, up 163,014 points from Saturday's close. The Farabourse index (IFX) also advanced, reaching 57,321 points. Retail trading value on Saturday topped 410 trillion rials (about 41 trillion tomans), with continued net buying by individual investors in the stock market.

According to Donya-e-Eqtesad, the session opened with strong demand, with roughly 30 trillion tomans worth of buy orders logged at the pre-opening, but the index gave back part of its early gains as selling pressure increased through the day.
