Today Iran's markets split in two: stocks fell hard while gold and coins bounced back. The main index dropped about two and a half percent, its fifth red day in a row. At the same time, gold and coins rose, a clear sign money is rotating into safe havens. The main index closed near five million fifty-five thousand points at the session's end. The free-market dollar reached about one hundred seventy-nine thousand tomans today. A gram of eighteen-karat gold rose to about seventeen point six million tomans today. Around eighty-five percent of symbols closed lower, with regional risk driving the selling. Bitcoin traded near sixty-three thousand eight hundred dollars, slightly lower today. Globally, Brent crude held near seventy-six dollars and spot gold around four thousand one hundred dollars. In the neighborhood, the Turkish lira stayed under pressure and the UAE dirham rose at the Exchange Center. In steel, size-ten rebar was about sixty-seven thousand tomans, close to Saturday's level. In cars, the factory-price dispute is still open and market margins stayed choppy. The building-materials market was quiet, with no fresh price news today. The Emami coin premium widened again, to roughly four point four million tomans. The free-market dollar stayed nearly twenty percent above the Exchange-Center rate. Tomorrow, watch for a floor in stocks, the coin premium, and U.S. inflation data. The Strait of Hormuz risk premium is keeping oil above seventy-six dollars.
