Wednesday morning, 24 Tir 1405 (15 July 2026). In overnight and early parallel-market trade, gold and coins ran ahead of the dollar: the Emami coin rose 2.25% to about 180,985,000 tomans and a gram of 18-karat gold gained 1.19% to about 17,892,000 tomans, while the free-market dollar held its record 184,110 tomans. The driver was global gold near $4,050 after a soft US inflation print. Tehran's bourse fell again, with 3,275 billion tomans of retail money leaving the market.

All eyes were on the dollar, but yesterday it was gold and coins that ran ahead of it. The Emami coin rose two point two five percent to about one hundred eighty one million tomans, more than the dollar. The main driver was global; a soft US inflation print weakened the dollar and kept gold firm. The free-market dollar held its record of one hundred eighty four thousand tomans, with Tether just below. The Emami coin near one hundred eighty one million tomans; its daily gain even outpaced the dollar. A gram of eighteen karat gold reached about seventeen point nine million tomans yesterday evening. Yesterday the year's tenth gold ingot auction ran; of thirty one kilos offered, twenty nine were sold. Global spot gold held near four thousand and fifty dollars, keeping its footing above four thousand. Tehran's main index fell zero point eight five percent to about four point nine two million points. At Tuesday's close, three thousand two hundred seventy five billion tomans of retail money left the bourse. Bitcoin traded near sixty four thousand eight hundred dollars, and Ethereum near eighteen hundred. Factory rebar was about sixty five thousand tomans a kilo and bulk cement near four million tomans a ton. The car market had no fresh price news and is watching the dollar and factory pricing decisions. Brent held around eighty five dollars and West Texas near eighty, while the euro edged up on the dollar. The UAE dirham rose to about fifty thousand tomans and the Iraqi dinar gained too, mirroring the dollar at home.
