Iran's largest ever initial public offering is on its way, so let's look at what we know. Iran's Exchange Organization says Taban Farda Petrochemical Group's valuation is now complete. The group's listed portfolio is valued at roughly three hundred eighteen trillion tomans. Ahdaf Investment Group, the oil industry pension fund's arm, owns Taban Farda outright. The holding owns stakes in Persian Gulf Holding, Naft Sepahan, Zagros, and Marun petrochemical. The offering was planned before Muharram, but valuing a company this large took more time. The exchange's oversight deputy says the offering comes within two weeks of June the twenty eighth. Five percent of Taban Farda's shares will be floated in this initial public offering. Up to five percent goes to oil industry retirees, repaid over two years with no interest. Ahdaf's chief executive calls this the largest transaction in Tehran Stock Exchange history. Based on portfolio value, that five percent stake could be worth about fifteen thousand billion tomans. Shasta's offering still holds the record for participants, at about two million and seventy thousand. Bringing assets this large to market can deepen Iran's capital market for everyday investors. Watch for the exchange organization's official date and base price announcement. Read the full analysis on Sahmino.
