Iran's Statistical Center (SCI) reports that year on year rent inflation reached 31.2% in Khordad 1405 (the month ending June 21, 2026), against a nationwide headline inflation rate of 88.6% for the same month, a gap of roughly 57 percentage points that put rent at the bottom of the consumer basket's inflation table.
