Iran Electronic Food Voucher for Shahrivar 1405 Charges in Three Rounds Starting September 6
Iran's Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare says the Shahrivar 1405 food-voucher credit, still 1 million tomans per person, charges in three rounds by the last digit of the household head's national ID: digits 0 to 2 on 15 Shahrivar (September 6), digits 3 to 6 on 25 Shahrivar (September 16), and digits 7 to 9 on 5 Mehr (September 27). The credit cannot be withdrawn as cash and is usable only at authorized stores.

In a notice dated 27 July 2026, the secretary of Iran's cabinet said all permits and deadlines granted to manage matters arising from the war are extended to the end of Shahrivar 1405. That extension expires on 22 September 2026, by which date the government is due to announce whether the measures are renewed or allowed to lapse. Administrative and financial deadlines for companies and state bodies fall under the decision.
Deadline for large stores to connect to Iran's national food-coupon system
Iran's Ministry of Cooperatives, Labour and Social Welfare has set the end of Shahrivar 1405 (22 September 2026) as the deadline for chain stores, multi-branch corporate retailers, and shops with monthly food-coupon sales above one billion tomans to connect to the national food-coupon system. The deadline is part of a new phase of the electronic food-coupon scheme intended to unify settlement with participating stores and clear delays in paying their receivables.
Deadline for Iran rental income tax returns for 1404
Iran's National Tax Administration issued a circular extending the filing deadline for rental income tax returns under Article 57 of the Direct Taxation Act to the end of Shahrivar 1405 (September 22, 2026). The extension covers rental income earned in the 1404 Iranian year and was announced on August 2, 2026. For taxpayers whose only income is property rent, the exemption ceiling is set at 480 million tomans under the 1405 budget law.
Iran Customs bank guarantee facility for import VAT closes to goods entering after end of Shahrivar 1405
Iran's Customs Administration, in circular 513286/1405 dated 13 July 2026, allowed bank guarantees to be accepted in place of value added tax on all imported goods for a 90 day period. The circular limits the facility to goods that have entered customs offices by the end of Shahrivar 1405, which falls on 22 September 2026, with declaration required within 30 days of the warehouse receipt. The stated aim is to ease the liquidity shortage of manufacturers and importers.
Deadline for Iran cash subsidy and food coupon recipients to verify residence in the country
Iran's Ministry of Cooperatives, Labour and Social Welfare said on 4 August 2026 that household heads who received a residence verification text message have until the end of Shahrivar 1405 (22 September 2026) to register their presence in the country in person at designated government service offices. Government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani said their food coupon credit will not be deposited in the Mordad round, with arrears added later once residence is verified.
Iran Customs delegated authority for temporary import extensions expires
A circular from the technical deputy of Iran Customs, reported on 5 August 2026, lets executive customs offices extend temporary import permits for passenger cars, vehicles carrying a carnet de passage, and road building and mining machinery until the end of Shahrivar 1405. It also delegates extensions of temporary import permits under Article 51 of the Customs Affairs Act and temporary export permits for goods other than vehicles. The delegation lapses on 22 September 2026 unless renewed.
Deadline for Iranians Abroad to Verify Residency to Keep Subsidies
Iran's Ministry of Cooperatives, Labour and Social Welfare gave individuals flagged by police data as likely residing abroad, who received a notification text message, until the end of Shahrivar 1405 (22 September 2026) to verify their residency in Iran in person at designated government service offices. Those who do not comply within the window will have their cash subsidy and kalabarg (goods coupon) benefits cut off.

Deadline for parallel enforcement of two editions of Iran building code Chapter 19
Iran's roads and urban development minister notified the interior minister that the fourth edition (1399) and fifth edition (1404) of Chapter 19 of the national building code may be enforced in parallel. Under the notification, reported on 3 August 2026, parallel enforcement runs from 10 January 2026 to 20 March 2027 (29 Esfand 1405), after which only the fifth edition governs design, supervision and construction. The notification states the deadline is final and cannot be extended.
