Wednesday morning, July twenty-second. Yesterday almost every market rose, except one. Let's walk through it. The winners were clear: gold, coins, the dollar and the bourse. The only loser was oil. Eighteen-karat gold rose about one point four percent, to nearly eighteen point four million tomans a gram. The push came from two sides: the domestic dollar rose, and global gold held above four thousand dollars. The Emami coin reached about one hundred eighty-six million tomans; global gold stayed near four thousand seventy. The free-market dollar climbed back near one hundred ninety thousand three hundred tomans. The gap between the free dollar and the Exchange Center rate widened to nearly twenty-six percent. The bourse booked a second straight green session, with the main index near four point eight nine million. But Brent crude softened a little, trading around eighty-eight dollars. OPEC plus is adding supply, but the Strait of Hormuz risk keeps a floor under prices. Oil reaches Tehran two ways: the country's currency income and market sentiment. The biggest event of the coming week is the Federal Reserve meeting on July twenty-ninth. The verdict is clear: yesterday belonged to hard assets, not to oil. So, the answer to our first question: everything rose yesterday, except oil. Full analysis on Sahmino.com.
