Bank Gardeshgari Sells Its Entire 29.7 Percent Stake in Gostaresh Sanaye va Maaden Mahan

Bank Gardeshgari (ticker Vagardesh) said in a Group A material disclosure published on Codal on Sunday, 27 September 2026 (5 Mehr 1405), that it transferred its 29.748 percent stake in the unlisted company Gostaresh Sanaye va Maaden Mahan to Pishro Keyfiyat Hamrah, a private joint-stock company, on 22 September 2026 (31 Shahrivar 1405), bringing its ownership in the company to zero.

According to the filing, the sale price was 39,762 rials per share and the total transaction value was 190,593,838 million rials (about 19,000 billion tomans). The bank carried the shares at a book cost of 90,326,403 million rials and reported a gain on the sale, after transfer costs, of 100,075,700 million rials (about 10,000 billion tomans).

The bank said the sale was carried out to comply with Article 16 of the Law on Removing Barriers to Competitive Production and Improving the Financial System, which requires banks to reduce their holdings in non-banking businesses.
