The Tehran Stock Exchange's main index (TEDPIX) closed on Monday, September 7, 2026 (16 Shahrivar 1405) at 6,907,617 points, up 184,041 points or 2.74 percent. A Sahmino screen across 366 Tehran bourse equity and rights symbols at that same close shows 362 closed higher and only 3 closed lower, each of the three by less than half a percentage point. Another 103 symbols closed at a gain of 2.99 percent or more, and the largest single gain recorded on the day was 3 percent.

Today, Monday the seventh of September, only three of three hundred and sixty six Tehran bourse symbols closed red. The main index of the Tehran Stock Exchange closed at six million nine hundred and seven thousand points. Yesterday it was six million seven hundred and twenty three thousand, a gain of two point seven four percent. Three hundred and sixty two symbols closed higher, three closed lower, and one was unchanged. The main index weights by market value, while the equal weighted index gives every symbol the same weight. The heaviest turnover of the day was in Bank Mellat, Aco, Shapna and Bank Tejarat. The three losing symbols were Kaveh, Lakhazar and Saman, each down less than half a percent. The equal weighted index rose two point five nine percent, close behind the main index. One hundred and three symbols closed at two point nine nine percent or higher. In the session of the fifth of September, net retail flow on the Tehran bourse was negative. On the second of September the winning streak broke, and three sessions later the market climbed again. For the sessions ahead, follow the count of rising and falling symbols each day.
