Parallel enforcement of two editions of Chapter 19 of Iran's building code extended to 20 March 2027
Iran's Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Farzaneh Sadegh, announced in a letter to the Interior Minister that the parallel enforcement of the fourth edition (2020) and the fifth edition (2025) of Chapter 19 of the National Building Regulations has been extended. Under the directive, both editions may be applied in parallel from 10 January 2026 (20 Dey 1404) until 20 March 2027 (29 Esfand 1405).
