Arfa Steel Launches Oxygen Injection System, Raising Output Capacity by About 10 Percent
According to Boursenews, Arfa Iron and Steel Company has commissioned an oxygen injection system for bustle gas at its direct reduction unit. The project was designed to optimize process conditions, improve furnace temperature control and allow more precise management of operating parameters. The company said the main results include an output capacity increase of about 10 percent and lower natural gas consumption per ton produced, alongside improved uniformity and quality of its sponge iron product.
